About Us
Woodmere Livery is a small high quality yard and offers a range of constantly improving facilities and a high standard of livery in a peaceful environment that makes for calm and relaxed horses. We pride ourselves on the levels of our horse care and the yard is run by Cath Lawton a qualified BHS instructor with many years experience in the equine industry
Woodmere is situated in a beautiful location in the hamlet of Bugle Gate near Lincomb. We are ideally situated for most towns and villages in Worcestershire including Kidderminster, Bewdley, Stourport on Severn, and Droitwich.
We find our setting makes a perfect location for calm and relaxed horses but is ideally located for getting to many local competition venues, hunts and British Eventing fixtures. Some of the venues within easy travel include:

Meet The Team
Woodmere has been in the ownership of Stuart Matthews and Catherine Lawton since 2004 having previously been a livery/small riding school and prior to that a stud and many moons ago a fruit farm! Both Cath and Stuart ride and are keen eventing and racing fans.
Catherine Lawton BHSAI
Cath has been involved with horses from a young age and has many years experience in the industry including teaching at riding schools, freelance teaching, running yards and schooling horses. She enjoys competing in both British Dressage and British Eventing.
Stuart Matthews
Stuart came into riding from his enthusiasm for racing and has organised a number of successful racing syndicates. He has since had a go at grassroots eventing, hunting and team chasing with his horses Lego and The Cyberman
